Small volumes, dense shelving and frequent door openings in small cold storage rooms — typical of large-scale retail and local storage areas – require a system capable of distributing air evenly, even using water, glycol or other non-freezing fluids.

Without well-balanced ventilation or when the exchanger can not operate efficiently at the flow rates typical of the hydronic systems, thermal stability is easily compromised. This leads to increased frost formation, rising energy consumption and a decline in fresh product quality , ultimately compromising shelf-life.

Refteco’s RGA angled air coolers are engineered to address these challenges. They combine compact footprint with constant ventilation and heat exchanger optimised for non-freezing fluids, offering uniform cooling, low energy consumption and simple daily management even in the smallest cold rooms.
