The super-compact solution for 10 m³ cold rooms

In smaller cold rooms (10-50 m³) for back rooms, laboratories and retail outlets, space is never enough. Close-together shelving, narrow aisles and low ceilings make it difficult to install an evaporator without obstructing air circulation or taking up useful storage space.

Even a slight variation in temperature in these environments can compromise preservation and increase the operating time of the system, leading to higher electricity consumption, costs and maintenance times, especially if access to components is difficult. The result is a less fluid operating cycle and higher running costs.

This is why Refteco has designed the REA/RBA angled air evaporators: compact, reliable solutions engineered to maintain stable product quality (both fresh and frozen) even in small spaces, with a focus on energy efficiency.

Advantages of REA/RBA angled unit evaporators:

Maximization of usable space in cold rooms from 10 to 50 m³, thanks to the ultra-compact angled design and configuration with 1–4 fans, ideal for back rooms and premises with restricted spaces.
Product quality protection, thanks to the coil with Ø10 mm tubes and fin spacing of 4/6/8 mm , which reduces dehumidification and frost formation, maintaining stable conditions from +20 °C to –25 °C.
Consumption optimization and efficiency, thanks to Ø250 mm AC/EC axial fans compliant with the ErP directive with IP54 protection, calculated to guarantee optimal air flow even in the presence of frost.
Maximum design flexibility, compatible with various refrigerants (HFC/HFO, CO₂) and available in dedicated series with maximum operating pressures up to 60 bar, adapting to new or retrofit systems.
Reduced maintenance and downtime, thanks to a sturdy powder-coated galvanized steel casing, AISI 304 stainless steel hardware, hinged drip tray and fan wiring, with full compliance with PED, Machinery, LV and EMC directives.
