The hottest summer days put extreme pressure on CO2 systems: ambient air temperatures rise rapidly, head pressure stability becomes harder to control, and fans are forced to operate at higher intensities. Under these conditions, even a slight increase in thermal load leads to elevated power consumption and a higher sensitivity to high-pressure alarms.
When capacity demand remains high for many consecutive hours, operational continuity depends entirely on the gas cooler’s ability to maintain uniform heat transfer. If volumetric airflow is insufficient or the heat transfer surface area fails to compensate for environmental fluctuations, the system quickly loses efficiency.
The RKVM–PAD series addresses these demanding requirements by guaranteeing stable evaporative precooling during the most severe periods without requiring complex operations. The evaporative PADs ensure a constant depression of the incoming air temperature, while the V-shaped geometry facilitates integration within restricted technical spaces, leaving specific performance data and available configurations to the technical specifications.
