RCVM-AD Adiabatic Spray Condensers
Stable condensation at thermal peaks with compact Footprint.
The adiabatic spray solution to increase capacity without oversizing the system
Days with high thermal loads quickly put condensers installed on compact or unshaded rooftops under severe pressure. In these contexts, the incoming hot ambient air reduces the useful margin for heat transfer, causing condensing temperatures to settle at critical levels, forcing fans to operate at higher speeds, and leading to less stable head pressure control.
This phenomenon is concentrated within a few, yet decisive hours of the year, during which a dry-operation system can approach its operational limit: energy consumption spikes, system regulation responds less precisely, and the risk of alarms can compromise the continuity of the refrigeration cycle.
The RCVM-AD series is specifically engineered to prevent these scenarios, integrating an adiabatic spray system that lowers the incoming air temperature only when peak loads demand it. The V-bank configuration keeps the overall dimensions compact and promotes uniform airflow distribution, while advanced construction details ensure optimized performance across the entire range.

Advantages of Adiabatic Spray Condensers
- Reduced energy consumption during seasonal peaks: Thanks to the selective activation of the spray system, which depresses the temperature of the air entering the coils only when strictly necessary, allowing dry operation for most of the year.
- Enhanced condensation stability even at low fan speeds: Thanks to inner-grooved copper tubes and corrugated fins that maintain highly effective heat transfer during the hottest hours.
- Easy integration into narrow lateral spaces: Thanks to the compact V-bank geometry, which allows seamless installation on narrow rooftops without compromising heat dissipation capacity.
- Low operating noise: Thanks to 800–910 mm external rotor fans and optimized fan shrouds, which require lower rotation speeds to achieve the same thermal output.
- Operational continuity during partial shutdowns: Thanks to internal separator baffles that prevent air recirculation and maintain a uniform airflow across the heat exchanger sections.
- Long-lasting structural reliability: Thanks to the coil suspension system that prevents direct contact between the core and the casing, drastically reducing the risk of micro-leaks.
