The compact cooler for urban and space-constrained environments

Architectural constraints, visual limitations and noise sensitivity make it increasingly difficult to install coolers in residential areas, historic centers or integrated industrial sites. In these cases, the challenge is to dissipate thermal power without exceeding critical dimensions or violating noise level regulations. A unit that is too tall or noisy risks being rejected at the design stage or causing significant operational disruption.

Designed for these specific scenarios, the Refteco RDVS liquid cooler series combines high-efficiency V-shaped coils with a total height of just 119 cm. Low-speed fans, paired with optimized heat exchangers, enable high performance even in low-visibility installations and low-speed cycles. The physical separation of the fan modules prevents air recirculation and ensures operational continuity even if a single fan stops working.

Advantages of liquid coolers with V coils

  • Easy installation even in critical environments: features flanged headers on the same side and low height (119 cm), simplifying installation near architectural constraints, low roofs or technical rooms.

  • High thermal efficiency even at low speed: V-shaped heat exchangers are optimised for high performance even with low air flow rates.

  • Operational continuity during partial shutdown: physical separation of ventilation modules avoids internal air recirculation.

  • Sturdy and durable structure, built with a RAL 9002 powder-coated galvanized steel casing and corrosion-resistant AISI 304 stainless steel hardware.

  • Reduced noise levels, starting from 28 dB(A) at 10 m, in full accordance with EN 13487.

  • Performance boost with adiabatic system: the spray or PAD systems reduce incoming air temperature, improving heat exchange during the hottest months.
