Airflow management in fast freezing systems within small and medium-sized tunnels requires units capable of cooling quickly and evenly, even when products are placed on highly compact multi-level trolleys. In these systems, air must penetrate dense structures without losing thrust, while the refrigeration unit must react quickly to the temperature peaks generated by the entry of products (meat, fish, ready-to-freeze meals), that are sometimes still warm.

When static pressure drops or the coil does not absorb the initial load quickly enough, the cycle balance is altered: chilling times lengthen, frost formation accelerates, and energy consumption rises. Furthermore, cleaning and inspection operations, often performed in confined spaces, add complexity if the unit is not designed for immediate access.

RGV fast freezer air coolers are developed specifically for these contexts: high static pressures, heat exchangers optimized for non-freezing fluids and a structure that facilitates assembly and maintenance ensure operational continuity and uniform cooling even in very compact tunnels.

  • Rapid and uniform cooling, thanks to the high pressure Ø450–500 mm fans which maintain a constant air flow even through compact multi-level trolleys, improving cycles regularity and product quality.

  • High heat exchange even under intensive loads, featuring coils with Ø16 mm smooth tube and high fin spacing optimized for water, glycol and non-freezing fluids, to reduce defrosting and maintain stable efficiency.

  • Greater long-term reliability, ensured by a tube suspension system which eliminates contact with the frame, reduces vibrations and the risk of micro-leaks while protecting the coil during repeated thermal shocks.
  • Robust construction for demanding environments, with painted galvanized steel casing, welded drip tray drain outlets and AISI 304 stainless steel hardware, ideal for low-temperature cold rooms and high- humidity environments.

  • Quick maintenance, made possible by removable closing panels and hinged fan cowls that allow immediate access to components, reducing plant downtime.

  • Wide system adaptability, with 16 models, various fin spacings and a wide range of options (EC/ATEX fans, insulated trays, protective coil treatments, special fins) to adapt the unit to compact tunnels or high-intensity chilling lines.
