RDVM-AD Liquid coolers with adiabatic spray system

The efficient alternative to oversizing for variable load systems.

Integrated dry-adiabatic system for maximum performance

When temperatures soar or the thermal load of a refrigeration system exceeds design specifications, many standard coolers fail: energy consumption spikes, cooling capacity drops, and system alarms are triggered. Oversizing an entire plant just to manage a few hours of peak operational emergency per year is often an uneconomical choice; however, relying on undersized systems can compromise the entire operation.

The RDVM-AD series was engineered specifically for these contexts: these V-shaped single-coil dry coolers operate in dry mode for the majority of the year, activating the adiabatic spray system only during critical ambient conditions. The result is a solution that combines high performance with operational continuity, without wasted energy or unnecessary water consumption. All this in 166 cm high and a constant width of 118 cm.

  • Air conditioning
  • Process cooling
  • Distribution platform

Advantages of adiabatic liquid coolers

  • Maximum peak performance the adiabatic spray system activates only when needed, utilizing softened water and management up to 1000 hours per year.

  • Reduced annual energy consumption, operating in the dry mode most of the time and activating the adiabatic function only upon specific request.

  • Compact footprint: feature a space-saving structure with a height of 166 cm and a fixed width of 1180 mm, ideal for restricted installations sites.

  • Noise emissions as low as from 32 dB(A) at 10 m, thanks to statically and dynamically balanced low-speed fans (ErP compliant).

  • Operational continuity: separate ventilation modules with individual thermal protection ensure the system remains functional even during a partial failure.

  • Improved hydraulic efficiency: the copper-aluminum heat exchanger features Ø12 mm pipes and flanged headers to significantly reduce pressure drops.
